The Internet truly is a fantastic resource. Thanks to the rapid growth of the Internet and the dissemination of knowledge that it has allowed for, it has become much easier to find independent, impartial, advice, news and opinions on anything from recipes to car engines. It is no wonder, then, that so many people see the Internet as their primary source of information when it comes to making a new car purchase, selecting insurance, or staying up to date with new developments in the industry.
In the past, the only source of independent car news and advice was limited to glossy magazines. The problem is, these magazines rely on advertising income – and guess who their advertisers are? That’s right, the very people whose products they are independently reviewing and reporting on. Internet forums, websites, chat sites and discussion boards have changed how car news is delivered in a fundamental way. There are now hundreds of websites run by dedicated car lovers who report their views and the news they come by simply because they have a passion for cars – the level of detail and honesty provided by these car news sources allows anyone to get a much more indepepth, truthful insight into the new developments within the car industry.
