Volkswagen recalls 49 958 2025 Tiguans over BCM software fault that can stall engine

Volkswagen is recalling 49 958 2025 Tiguan SUVs because a body control module software error can reset the BCM and shut off the engine. Dealers will install a free software update; owner letters are scheduled for 6 November 2026.
