McLaren confirms 750S production will end in 2027
McLaren says it will stop producing the 750S in 2027 and is now taking final orders. The V8-powered sports car traces its roots to the 720S and will be succeeded — along with the Artura — by a new model reportedly called the P34.

McLaren has confirmed production of the 750S will end in 2027 and that it is now taking final orders for the model.
The current 750S is derived from the 720S that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017 and has remained on sale in various forms since then.

The 750S uses an upgraded 4.0‑litre twin‑turbocharged V8 and is 66 lbs (30 kg) lighter than the 720S, helping it stay competitive against newer, heavier rivals.
In July McLaren introduced a limited final iteration, the 788HS. Just 200 units will be built, each fitted with an upgraded engine producing 777 horsepower and 590 lb‑ft (800 Nm) of torque, together with visual and aerodynamic changes.
"The 750S represents everything that defines a McLaren supercar: benchmark performance, thrilling driver engagement, technical innovation, expressive design, and defined personalization," said Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, McLaren chief commercial officer.
The 750S’s retirement is not unexpected: the model is approaching a decade on sale and many rivals have moved to hybrid powertrains. The source notes competitors such as the Lamborghini Temerario and the Ferrari 296 GTB are hybrids with higher output and lower emissions.

McLaren is also reported to be planning the end of the Artura in 2028. Both the 750S and the Artura are said to be replaced by a new model known internally as the P34.
Reports say the P34 will arrive with a newly developed twin‑turbo hybrid V6 that offers more horsepower and torque than the 750S, but will likely add weight — whether it can match the lightweight character of the 720S and 750S remains to be seen.
